Bynari - Interesting Solutions

If you are using MS Exchange and getting more than a little fed up, I highly recommend giving Bynari's Outlook Groupware products a try. They have come up with a Linux-based product (ie: more stable) that can communicate with an Exchange server, as well as Cyrus and Courier. Exchange can be very complicated, particularly for new users, but I found that Bynari's Insight Server was easy to use, uncomplicated and quite frankly - better.

Their Insight Connector product is a terrific plug-in that works with either their Insight Server, Cyrus IMAP or Courier IMAP to provide users with a great set of tools, including a calendar, public folders, scheduling, and other resources that would typically be limited only to those using an Exchange Server. The offline mode was particularly helpful to me, and well appreciated.

I also enjoyed their Insight WebClient product - now this one is a little different. It provides an online collection of tools that are similar (but once again better) than MS Outlook to keep your team or yourself on schedule, on track and on the move. This suite is very easy to use and well worth your time.

Bynari offers 30 day free trials on all of their products and if you're looking for an alternative to MS, or if you're just out of patience, you won't be out anything to give them a try. I enjoyed it and I think you'll agree once you get them installed. It really is a breath of fresh air.
