What kind of stat program are you using for your business? As the recent debacle over del.icio.us has represented, if you're planning on getting funding for your company, it had better be a really good program with verifiable accuracy.

Basically, HitWise has said del.icio.us is booming, Comscore said they were failing. Yahoo! who purchased del.icio.us late last year, agrees with HitWise (and who could blame them.) Apparently, HitWise is closer to the truth, but this really illustrates the fact that third-party stat providers can have wildly different results on one site's traffic.

Keep this in mind if you're in the process of getting venture capital, or if you have investors looking at your company.
