Wasting Company Time

One of the major problems facing business owners is trying to keep their employees on task, especially when internet access is freely provided and you can’t monitor them every second of every day. Is your employee putting in their full eight hours for you, or are you getting around 3 hours of work, while they chat with their friends for the rest of the day?

Programs that monitor employee internet access are useful, but adept employees can usually figure out a way around it. You can try blocking certain sites, but this can be an impossible task. How is a business owner expected to do their own work, and still ride herd on their employees?

SpectorSoft has recently launched a new Keystroke Logger. This little tool works very well by running stealthily in the background, monitoring exactly what your employees are doing. If you start seeing OMG! And other keystrokes that indicate your employee is not talking to a client, you can take action quickly.

Parents can also use this to keep an eye on what their kids are doing online. Spying is never fun, whether it is on your children, your spouse or your employees. However, in today’s society, it’s become almost necessary, particularly for business owners who are paying their employees for the privilege of surfing the net.
