Packing, Crating and More

Anytime you deal with tangible goods that are sent to consumers, you've got to worry about getting them there in one piece, and at a good price. Customers don't appreciate high shipping costs, nor do they like to receive broken stuff. In fact, packing an item well has a psychological benefit for your customers. They know that you care about your business, and them, when you take the time to really make sure an item will arrive safely.

If you're shipping large items internationally, wooden crating is often the best way to ensure the items will arrive intact. Unfortunately, wooden crating is becoming less popular, but a new community site is working to change this. This new community is working to bridge the gap between wood crate producers and wood crate buyers, and create a new network to bring them together.

You'll find information on wood shipping crates, tips, techniques, and even the only forum in existence that is dedicated to wood shipping crates.

This is a fantastic example of a niche community, like I discussed a few days ago. When you see a need - fill it! This company has done an excellent job accomplishing just that.
