VOIP Revolution

Have you tried VoIP yet? If not, you're missing out on a great way to take advantage of cheaper phone rates, better connections and a great way to communicate with colleagues, businesses and family. VoIP has come a very long way in the past few years, and most major telephone companies are now supporting it. If you have a broadband connection, you're just a few minutes away from making long distance calls a lot cheaper and a lot easier.

VoIP stands for "Voice Over Internet Protocol" and works by utilizing existing broadband connections. Most of the time, your connecting party won't need a VoIP line, but it does help. With most VoIP companies, you can select your own phone number so that if you're traveling, you can continue to make calls without paying long distance charges. Skype and other internet start-ups have made it even easier to use VoIP - if you have a microphone and some headphones, you can immediately jump into the game.
