Yahoo! Launches Search Builder

Yahoo's Official Blog announced today that they are rolling out their new Yahoo Search tool for sites. This new app allows you to create a topic or site based search, with complete integration into your own site.

You can fine tune it to match your site's color scheme and layout, and simply embed the code into your pages. Very easy to use, and so far, it seems to be working very well.

As Yahoo states on their post:

We’ve created a basic suite of tools to help you understand your search traffic. With the popular search module, you’ll discover hot searches your users are interested in. With user and traffic reports, you’ll be able to monitor the growth of your search engine.

So, what does this mean for site owners? Basically, let's say you have a site that is completely devoted to the art of origami. You could then use this to pull in results that are completely based around this one topic. Pretty effective.
