Click2Scan - Awesome New Application

Found an interesting new application - Click2Scan, that let's you save images with your mobile phone, scan them and then share them. Pretty much 1,2 and 3. Here's the release:

Monday 7th August, 2006 - Realeyes3D, the pioneer in handwritten messaging and provider of innovative embedded applications for camera phones, has announced a new mobile service, clicktoscan, that enables you to scan images from your mobile phone and send them direct to an email address or fax.

The service is ideal for when you are on the move and works for everyone, whether you're a student or a professional businessman. You simply take a picture of the selected document or page with your camera phone and, using the application, send it to a chosen email address or a fax machine. The application reads the text content, cleans up the image and then sends it to the chosen output as a PDF document. Using the application significantly reduces paperwork time and is ideal for any business or lifestyle scenario.

Currently in Beta testing – this application can be downloaded free of charge from the clicktoscan website (www.clicktoscan.com) where users can test the service in their own environment.

This would be a great new app for real estate agents, professionals who travel and pretty much everyone who needs a quick way to make a back-up of an important document.
